WHAT DOES COACHING LOOK LIKE? 

Boyd Coaching consists of 6 weeks of 60-minute individual coaching sessions that will help you integrate all aspects of your life: mental, emotional, spiritual, and relational. You will receive tools and techniques for stress relief and learn to recognize times when you are stressed the most. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will feel more integrated, in control, and experience more peace. This is so you can defeat stress and receive an individualized plan tailored to your goals and experience.

Whether you know what will make you happy or haven’t a clue, we will work together to develop a life plan that will help you reach your most valued milestones. Then, we will get you moving in the right direction. 

I’ll let you in on a secret. How happy you are doesn’t just depend on where you are right now. It also depends on how high you set your sights forward and how you are progressing on that journey. With your map and life plan, you will start moving in the right direction.

HOW IS COACHING DIFFERENT FROM THERAPY?

A coach walks alongside you as a guide and acts as your personal cheerleader. Coaching is 100% individualized and occurs in any life phase, from dealing with the everyday to the unfamiliar or difficult. While there are a lot of similarities and crossovers between coaching and therapy in the matters that are addressed, keep in mind that therapy is driven towards treating symptoms and possibly a diagnosis, and it is also limited to states in which a therapist is licensed to practice. A huge bonus to coaching is that there are no restrictions based on location, which means I can meet with you (virtually) wherever! 

I know you already have what it takes to make the changes necessary to get there. With coaching, you will walk forward with someone by your side, lending a hand and rooting for you every step of the way. At Boyd Coaching, I have worked with hundreds of women just like you to map out a plan for happiness, get ready, and take the first steps toward a better life.
